Ugo Bardi: The E-Cat Horror

Ugo Bardi teaches physical chemistry at the University of Florence, in Italy. He is interested in resource depletion, system dynamics modeling, climate science and renewable energy – and the Andrea Rossi Energy Catalyzer story.

His article “The E-Cat Horror,” is part horror story, part comedy.

    How unfortunate that the Inspector from the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control did not ask Rossi the simplest of question when Rossi said there were no nuclear reactions: He should have inverted Rossi’s claims and asked; “Chemical reactions cannot account for the heat generation you claim, so what can account for the heat observed that isn’t nuclear?”!
