Hi S.D. Simonson,

Uggh. I'm going to have to tell my editor she told me so. ;) She said, "make sure that the visual presentation makes it clear to readers..."

This was the first time we did a news index that was chronological rather than reverse-chronological. I still am not sure that this was the wrong way to do it, but perhaps there was a better way to present it. I wanted to show the temporal sequence of the stories. Do you think it would have helped to just state that on the top?

What seems to happen in this version/configuration of Wordpress is that when you page down all they way to the bottom, it gives you more. Like bottomless drinks at a restaurant. I'll look into this with our dev team to see if we can make the UI smoother.

Thanks for recognizing what we do at New Energy Times.

Steve,

Since I like to see the "Latest" it is more convenient to have it near the top. Only once in a while do I look for previous postings and then I am in the research mode and don't mind searching. I am not sure about new users that are visiting for the first time. This topic seems like it is reaching "breaking news" status (at least on the web).

Also, when I first load the page and scroll quickly to the bottom, the Wordpress page jumps back up as it is loading each of the images on the page and I lose focus on the summary I am reading. It does this a few times over the 5 or 10 seconds while it is loading all of the graphics.

Not a big problem but just a small inconvenience. I appreciate your efforts in assembling high quality information, not just copying other's blogs like most of the other web sites on the topic.

My editor said the same thing, she agreed with you. I told her that the stories have a time progression and that readers would naturally read top down. What do you think?

Today is suppose to be the start of Defkalion testing. I already got a poll posted at my
website regarding the reasons it will fail. You can vote if you want a good laugh.

Thanks for addressing the "betts" issue. These ecat scammer websites are quite quick
to invent associations that never existed in the first place. It's the hallmark of affinity
scammers.

FWIW, I'm not going to waste time chasing down shadows when either Rossi or Defkalion
could have already come clean with a working demo. After the Defkalion tests go belly-up
I would expect the majority of interest will wane and Rossi et.al. will have to do their scamming
with people who are clueless to Google and have no common sense whatsoever, which means
he'll still have plenty of rubes to chose from.

Enjoy.

Hey Steven, thank you for replying on my comment. I am one of the "sitting on the fence" people and I don't believe Rossi's every word. I don't understand his game and I have my suspicions about his very sanity. But I must admit that I am to some degree addicted to "hopium" so I'm following the story with the tiny, small hope that Rossi has fooled you (sorry...) for some reason (secrecy?) on your visit and that he has a real device. I'm also following it because it's an interesting saga in of itself.

I very much appreciate your work over the last decade and I just hope you don't take Rossi too personally. I do think that if this was important enough (like it should be) for the major media then NI would have to actually have a press conference explaining what the hell is going on, as they are the most known and respected company to have ever worked on a possible LENR commercial device as far as I know.

Hi Dror,

Thanks for that link. Here's what I get from that.

First, we have an anonymous person on a blog who makes statements that he/she has been in contact with Ms. Betts. There are no direct quotes, no images of emails. Just "he says, she says." That's not very strong journalism, but it may all be true.

Second, I get that NI and Rossi are not working together at the present time. I get that there is no evidence that Rossi and NI were ever working together. Unless you call "talking" working together. As we know, Rossi does a lot of talking to a lot of people.

If I recall, this came about because Rossi wrote in his explanation of why the big blue box hadn't moved. He said he made a joint decision with National Instruments to make all the control systems for the big blue box in his garage rather than at the customer’s site.

Rossi's statement still seems to be wholly unsupported, and if helps to be more direct, it sounds like bullshit.

I want to know the facts just as well as you do. If you know of any factual evidence that shows that NI made any kind of decision with Rossi about the control systems for the 1MW E-Cat, I want and need to know this. We all need to know this. Just like we all need to know if there are any facts to support Rossi's claim that he was heating a factory 24/7 in Bondeno.

If it turns out that Rossi has been blowing smoke and wasting your time and hope, you're going to be very angry about every hour and minute that you continued to spend on this. I don't want that. I want you to get the facts. Insist on the facts. Journalistic facts show up as images, recordings, documents or direct quotes that can be traced back to original sources by anybody who so chooses.

Nobody would be happier than me than to see the first practical LENR device. Nobody would be more eager to be the first to report such news to you than me.

Your hope for a cleaner, better energy source is important to me and I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm in LENR.
